A man in my neighborhood has 11 hens he’d like to sell. They’re all brown egg layers, mixed breeds, probably around three years old (maybe more). They’re five dollars each. I’m sorry I never got the slaughter workshop scheduled. I said it would be in November, but repairs on the house sidetracked me for a couple of weeks, and this week is Thanksgiving. I just went ahead and put the (two-year old) hens we were going to kill in with the one-year-olds in the pole barn. Maybe next year. Until then, if anyone has any questions, just email me.
